Blackie and I had to go to the Fabric Store and check out some fabrics for our upcoming projects. Unfortunately Dane couldn't come due to the fact she had to work and we just couldn't put off going considering time is ticking quite fast and we got lots more to do.!!! So we got a few swatches of fabrics we liked well only 5 because 5 was the highest amount you could choose. I must admit I felt very much out of my comfort zone because usually Dane is the one that knows how to speak the designer/seamstress language and knows what fabric is good for what, whether as Blackie and I just kind of go with what prints and colour we like and tend to forget that each fabric is different. But I must admit Blackie was heaps good when it came to the denim choices, I was impressed. If only Dane was...lets just say it was a good first time but not to be repeated...haha.! We are now more clear on what we need to be looking for and Dane nicely helped us realize. I just added them to the concept board but I don't think they will be staying...lets just say the only possibility is the denim...
